Masood graduated from NYU and subsequently received his MFA in documentary film production from CUNY. He has produced and directed several award-winning short form documentaries, including Stranger in Paradise which won the top prize at City Vision Film Festival and the jury prize at Jackson Heights Film Festival. Witness is his first feature documentary.
Having studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, the Lee Strasberg Institute, and Playwright’s Horizons; writer, Gary Jones, has written and optioned numerous screenplays, including “Monongahela” to Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, and “Love Extreme” to the filmmaker, Aleta Chappelle. Alexandre Ayer is a French-American cinematographer and photographer.
He was raised in Paris, France, and moved to New York in 2011.
He has collaborated on a wide variety of projects throughout the world, from being an assistant director on Disney Nature’s Oceans in his early career, to commercial photography and videography for a wide variety of clients and corporations, and documentary work for agencies, networks, directors, personal projects, and non-profit organizations. He currently resides in Ossining, NY.
